Team Culture

Having a lively and collaborative team culture is something I really value as a teammate. We can all feel siloed at times, especially when working remotely. That's why I took it upon myself to host a regular call for our entire design team. It started out as a little idea I had and now, over a year later, it's grown to be something everyone looks forward to every other Thursday.

Even though it seems silly, these calls have really helped teammates open up with one another. And it has helped tremendously with teamwork and design collaboration.

I've had such an incredible time coming up with these activities, making the slides on Figma, and seeing the impact it's made on the team. So when leadership came to me earlier this year to plan an activity for the ENTIRE design organization, I jumped on it. The activity was meant for our annual Design Day conference in Charlotte, NC. The photo below was a result of that!
